This session is designed for instructors currently using Smartpens and for instructors who want to learn more about teaching with Smartpens.

What’s a Smartpen?
Smartpens are made by LiveScribe and are used with a special dot paper and can record everything written on a page together with audio. The recording can be saved as a pencast PDF file which can be played by the viewer or viewed as a static PDF file. Instructors are using Smartpens to create “pencast” tutorials, facilitate communication in online classes, and peer grading of homework.
