The Office of Teaching and Learning (OTL) invites interested faculty to participate in the Assessment Fellows program. Selected recipients will gain the following benefits:
- Receive a $500 summer stipend by attending a two-day workshop (June 25-26) where participants will (1) learn hands-on, practical knowledge about program assessment and accreditation, and (2) design robust cultures of assessment, craft assessment reports, and conduct peer reviews;
- Provide service to the institution by meeting once every quarter (approximately 1.5 hours each time) in the 2018-19 academic year; and
- Provide service to the institution by serving as an assessment consultant (up to 10 hours per year) who can advise colleagues about crafting assessment blueprints, writing assessment reports, and co-creating a dynamic culture of assessment.
Given long-standing concerns about assessment, this is an opportunity for you to take a leadership role in co-constructing meaningful and manageable assessment processes at DU. To make this magic happen, your perspective and participation would be so appreciated! OTL invites you to apply for Assessment Fellows and submit your materials by Friday, May 4. Feel free to call 303-871-6012 or email email@example.com if you have any questions.
