Beyond the basic login, some channels can have extra security features that only allow specific DU members access to a set of media items. You may want to create a channel if you need to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Organize videos for a group of University community members.<\/li><li>Share media privately with selected University community members.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>Can non-DU members access a MediaSpace channel? No, only DU community members can access channel content. However, contact KalturaAdmin@du.edu if your channel requires public access. <br><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"mediaspace-gallery\">What&#8217;s a DU MediaSpace gallery? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A DU MediaSpace Gallery is a set of media items that does not require any type of login. For example, <a href=\"https:\/\/mediaspace.du.edu\/category\/Academics%3EDaniels+College+of+Business%3EDaniels+Executive+Education\/207773423\">The Daniels Executive Education<\/a> program has several public videos. <br>Public galleries requires that you contact KalturaAdmin@du.edu to create a gallery. For example, if you have a video that was made Unlisted and that video is included in a channel that is Restricted, a viewer would have to login using their university email and password to view the video. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"adding-members-to-a-channel\">Adding members to a channel<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Add DU members to your channel by clicking the Members tab. Click the Add Members button to search for community members. From here you can change a member role or remove them from the channel.
