How do I add quiz questions to a video in Canvas?

There are two way to create a video quiz:

  1. Kaltura Video Quiz
  2. Post a video within a Canvas Quiz

Posting a video within a Canvas Quiz

The Canvas quiz tool allows you to add a video from any source that provides the video embed code. Quiz responses can then be automatically recorded in the Canvas Grade Book. Here is an example video with a quiz question listed below.

Step-by-step instructions:

1. Go to Canvas and click “Quizzes” on your left menu and then click “+ Quiz.”

2. Give your quiz a name. You can add YouTube, DU CourseMedia or any video that has an embed code.

3. Click the “Questions” tab to add your quiz questions

4. Add your questions
